About this Design

Labels are for jars NOT people. Labeling is a form of categorization which can have profound effects on individuals. In psychiatric contexts, in which a form of categorization is utilized to discriminate and identify mental disorders, this could lead to stigma and other negative consequences. Nicknames and other labels can range from seemingly innocent to really offensive, like ‘dumb-ass’ or ‘fatso’. It is needless to say that these can really lower a person’s self-esteem.
