About this Design
The design features a creature with an abstract representation, highlighted in vibrant blue and pink. The creature has large, expressive eyes and an obscured mouth made of sharp, jagged shapes. The use of halftone dots adds texture, and the overall style is reminiscent of pop art with a sci-fi twist, making it visually striking and unique.
Behind this design
@Delvik
MAYDAY! MAYDAY! MAYDAY! Plastics are flooding our oceans - and the list of marine species harmed by plastic debris keeps growing. From tiny zooplankton and fish to sea turtles, seabirds, and marine mammals, tens of thousands of marine creatures are suffering from entanglement or plastic ingestion. Plastics never truly disappear. They break down into smaller and smaller pieces - microplastics - that act like magnets for toxic pollutants. When eaten by fish, these chemical-laden fragments can travel up the food chain... and end up on our plates. Plastic pollution doesn’t just threaten ocean life. It’s a human problem, too. Plastics have become nearly impossible to avoid - they’re in our food, our water, even the air we breathe. The long-term effects on human health are still being uncovered, but the warning signs are clear. And yet, recycling isn’t enough. Only about 9% of plastic waste has ever been recycled. That’s not a solution - it’s a distraction. To truly fight the plastic crisis, we must reduce the production of single-use plastics at the source. We need action - collective and immediate. From global corporations to local restaurants, businesses must shift to sustainable alternatives. Governments must enact policies that hold polluters accountable. And you? You have the most powerful role of all. Make your voice heard. Lead by example. Say no to single-use. Say yes to change. Together - YOU & ME - we can turn the tide.
