About this Design

When eaten by fish, these chemical-laden fragments can travel up the food chain... and end up on our plates. Plastic pollution doesn’t just threaten ocean life. It’s a human problem, too. Plastics have become nearly impossible to avoid - they’re in our food, our water, even the air we breathe. The long-term effects on human health are still being uncovered, but the warning signs are clear. And yet, recycling isn’t enough. Only about 9% of plastic waste has ever been recycled. That’s not a solution - it’s a distraction. To truly fight the plastic crisis, we must reduce the production of single-use plastics at the source. We need action - collective and immediate.
