Modeled after the traditional Japanese doll that’s become a symbol of perseverance. Sometimes called a wishing doll, daruma are used as a focus for remembering and achieving one’s goals. The color of the daruma has meaning. Red is for good luck and good fortune. (More colors to come.) An homage to the mug mentioned in the third book in the Amaranthine Saga by FORTHRIGHT, Tamiko and the Two Janitors.
