Colorful drawing of a Western sheep moth. I made this drawing by hand with ink pens on Bristol board, using a dot work, or stippling technique. I then layer colour on top of my drawing using alcohol markers. Sheep moth (Hemileuca eglanterina), are silk moths found in parts of North America. They appear during the day in summer and vary in colour and markings. The moth that I have drawn has beautiful golden yellow orange lower wings with vibrant pink red upper wings.
