About this Design
The image depicts a detailed illustration of a stingray. The stingray's body curves gracefully with flowing lines and a long, thin tail. Its texture is intricately dotted, showcasing a vintage or stipple art influence. The overall style is minimalist, focusing on the elegance and fluidity of the stingray's shape, enhanced by the contrast of black on a white background.
@lorendowding
Black and white ink illustration of a stingray. I created this drawing by hand using ink pens in a stippling technique on Bristol board. Stingrays are a collection of sea rays. Rays, also known as Batoidea are unique flat bodied cartilaginous fish - their skeletons are formed of cartilage instead of bone. There is over 200 species of stingray and they are found in tropical marine oceans across the world and are recognisable by their long wide fins and long tails.
