The alpha stage, the moment between sleep and wakefulness, is a fascinating state where your brainwaves slow down to alpha frequencies (8–12 Hz). This state is associated with relaxation, creativity, and heightened suggestibility. Hallucinations, sleep paralysis, even lucid dream entry point can be happen during this phase.
