About this Design
A vivid design on a deep red background features bold red text reading 'RED SISTERS'. Below, central stage is a stern female face wearing a pilot's cap. Around her are St. Basil's Cathedral, a woman riding a motorcycle, a star-tipped rod, and a cross with roots, balancing a depiction of strength, rebellion, Soviet motifs, and historical echoes. 'EDWARD GLENWOOD' is printed in yellow above the face.
@7hells
In 1959 pulp book publisher, Atomic Rocket Books, released “Red Sisters”. A story of identical twins (but for the color of their hair: one brunette, one white) and their rivalries with one another and the communist state they lived in. Unlike other ‘red scare’ propaganda of the time, the story was unique as the heroines themselves were Russian, and constantly challenged the communist status quo and extolled a non-conformist philosophy.
