We’re having so much fun watching X-Files designs rolling in and we don’t want it to stop, so we’re extending this challenge for two more weeks. Only submissions received before 23:59:59 US/Central on September 13th will be eligible for inclusion in the January Loot Crate, but all challenge submissions are now eligible for a second prize of $2000.**

The truth is out there. Are you ready to design it?

Parasitic slugs. Homicidal inbred mutants. Human-like creatures covered in tree bark. And, of course, aliens of every imaginable stripe. Any unexplained horror your mind could conjure, Dana Scully and Fox Mulder investigated it on The X-Files.

We're getting excited for the return of our favorite FBI duo in 2016. To celebrate, we’re asking you to design a t-shirt tribute to Mulder, Scully, The Smoking Man, and all the creeps and kooks that made The X-Files legendary.

To make this challenge extra special, we’re teaming up with Loot Crate, the monthly subscription box dedicated to all things geek. The winning design will be featured in the January crate, surrounded by the best in pop-culture swag. Check out the spoils that dropped in past crates for a bit of added inspiration. NOTE: The design chosen for Loot Crate will be printed on a black tee, so design accordingly. The winner, along with two runners up, will also be featured in Loot Crate Magazine.

Do you want to believe (that you can win this challenge)?

    The X-Files

    The X-Files

Thirteen years after the original series run, the next mind-bending chapter of THE X-FILES will be a thrilling, six-episode event series helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson re-inhabiting their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. This marks the momentous return of the Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history. THE X-FILES originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.
