Christmas in July? Meh. How about Halloween in August!

Our favorite holiday, only sooner!

Halloween comes but once a year (lame!), so we decided to get a jump on those spoopy vibes with a summertime celebration of the bestest holiday ever.

While you could stick to the tried and true imagery we typically associate with Halloween and get your darkness on, you could also embrace summer mode with vampires surfing, a wolfman shaving to cool off, or a swamp monster on a pool float sipping on a mai tai. If not incorporating summer-based visual elements, you could also try juxtaposing warmer, brighter colors with ghoulish characters who would normally sport a monochromatic, if not darker, palette. Did somebody say neon Frankenstein’s monster? We did.

For now, let’s raise an ice-cold lemonade garnished with a witch’s withered finger to commemorate this challenge, and hope the summer sun shines a light on the darkness emanating from the depths of your dark Halloween mind. Cheers!
