About this Design
The image features a hammer with a wooden texture, designed in a vintage style. The word 'LUDDITE' is prominently written across the hammer's handle. The head of the hammer has a metal-like appearance with the year '1811' etched into it, referencing the Luddite movement. The design is monochromatic, set against a dark background, giving it a classic and historical feel.
@octophant
The Luddites of the early 19th century were not anti-technology. They were opposed to capitalist exploitation of working people and the unbridled destruction of livelihoods and communities for nothing but corporate profit. So they destroyed the machines that were impoverishing them when their suffering was ignored by wealthy factory owners and politicians. And we need more such Luddites now.
