Black and white illustration of a stanley crane. I made this drawing on Bristol board with fine ink marker pens, using one of my own photographs as reference for this drawing. Stanley cranes (Grus paradisea) are a vulnerable species of bird and are also known as blue cranes, or paradise cranes. These birds are found in South Africa and have blue grey plumage, with long black tails feathers
