About this Design

Detailed black and white sketch of a goat's head with two prominent horns curving backward. The texture of the fur and the realistic features bring the animal to life, with the image cut off at the body to create a floating head effect. The horns have a slight artistic interpretation, adding a modern touch to the traditional drawing technique.

Black and white ink illustration of a young Scimitar-horned oryx. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I created this drawing using pigma micron markers and a rotring isograph for the darkest areas. The Scimitar oryx, or Sahara oryx are a species of antelope that sadly are extinct in the wild. Once found across North Africa, these oryxes have a white coat with red brown markings. All oryx species have amazing long horns.
