Hand-drawn ink illustration of a long-tailed tit, a small bushtit found across Eurasia. I made this drawing using fine ink pens on Bristol board. Long-tailed tits (Aegithalos caudatus) are a common garden bird where I live in England, they are one of my favourites as they have such a cute round appearance and often visit in large groups. They have mostly black and white feathers with distinctive dark markings on their heads, but can ocassionally be seen with fully white heads.
