About this Design
The image features a chaotic, abstract design using bold black brushstrokes. It appears to depict a skull with its surroundings filled with swirling, overlapping lines, giving it a dynamic and intense look. There is a sense of movement and ambiguity, typical of abstract art, allowing different interpretations.

SKULL: Et Tu, Ink? – The title of this drawing refers to Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar’s line “Et tu, Brute?”, which was said upon being betrayed in an assassination attack by his friend Marcus Brutus, only this time the ink in a drawing has gone chaotic, scribbling and scrawling itself into a deathly symbol, a skull. This skull is one of a series of skull artworks created by NYC-based artist Elizabeth Meggs. (IMAGE COPYRIGHT ©️ ELIZABETH MEGGS)
