Somewhere in between preppy and gothic lies Dark Academia, an internet subculture and aesthetic that romanticizes the way in which private universities of the 19th century emphasized classical art and literature. For this Design Challenge collection, artists conjured up a spooky library of designs filled with spell books, occult symbols, and references to secret societies.

Proceeds from the sale of these designs are being donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a nonprofit that works to protect rights guaranteed to every American citizen by the laws and Constitution of the United States.
