Somewhere in between preppy and gothic lies Dark Academia, an internet subculture and aesthetic that romanticizes the way in which private universities of the 19th century emphasized classical art and literature. For this Design Challenge collection, artists conjured up a spooky library of designs filled with spell books, occult symbols, and references to secret societies.

Proceeds from the sale of these designs are being donated to Oceana, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the world’s oceans on a global scale with winning policy campaigns in the countries that govern much of the world's marine life.
