The challenge was
Create a t-shirt design inspired by Cartoon Network's Regular Show.
Regular Show may not seem like the most accurate name for a show about the surreal adventures of a blue jay and a raccoon who are best buds. But Mordecai and Rigby really are typical 23-year-olds. They spend most of their time avoiding their jobs as park groundskeepers and seeking fun at any cost. Sure, sometimes that cost is almost getting sucked into a black hole of coolness or battling against Death in an epic bowling game that puts their lives on the line. But Mordecai and Rigby aren’t going to let a little imminent danger get in the way of a good time.
Now it’s your turn to decide what sort of weird, supernatural fun these BFFs will encounter next. Get inspired by Mordecai and Rigby—or any of Regular Show’s other colorful characters—to create an original t-shirt design. Go ahead, say “Yeahuh!!” We know you’re psyched.
Keep in Mind:
The winner received

Designs from this challenge
An original animated comedy series from creator J.G. Quintel and Cartoon Network Studios, Regular Show features best friends Mordecai (a six-foot-tall blue jay) and Rigby (a hyperactive raccoon). The two are groundskeepers at a park owned by Pops, a humanoid-looking lollipop who has spent his entire life there. The job is so deadly dull that the two friends will do anything they can to avoid it. This doesn’t go over well with their boss Benson (an anthropomorphic gumball machine) — but their efforts often result in insane escapades that delight Pops. The series won a 2012 Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Short-format Animated Program as well as a 2012 Ottawa Intl. Animation Festival Best Television Animation Made for Children. In addition the series was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Television Series (Kids).
New episodes of Regular Show premiere Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
