I like it more without the cord. For what it's worth. But it's a good design either way.

I think it's great. I would love to see the shirt placement. Is the blue/gray background the shirt color you're thinking of?

Very clever idea. As a master of the not-so-noble gases I salute you.

Thanks for being so cool about the design chemicalflava. And thanks for the constructive criticism as well. As for submitting, it's only fair that you should have the opportunity to submit yours first since you posted yours first, so in the event that they should decline any one it would be me.
The white fuzz around the design is just a rush job on getting it on the t-shirt template and definitely needs some work. The purple grid definitely is negotiable. As mnmcandiez suggested (and thank you for taking the time to post a comment), I originally wanted to put the design on a light blue shirt, which I thought would make the purple really pop. And yes, it is a bit confusing visually as to what kind of plane the three items are appearing on.
See, this is the kind of reason this critiquing exists!

That's crazy. I wish there was a way I can prove I never saw your design, but there's really no way I can convince you. I think the designs are different enough that we can both use what we've got. I'd like to keep my piece up, I hope that won't be an issue.
It's crazy that we both had similar ideas and probably around the same time.
