  • I have been on Threadless a few years. I do not think any printed designer has made a complete living year after year from just Threadless. Some people have done very well on here though.

One think I know and have noticed is the very best of the best artwork/ideas do get scored very highly on Threadless. Incredible work gets noticed on here regardless of you being completely new with a first submission or being someone who has been on here a few years.

Coming up with a completely original idea, with an incredible concept, fantastic artwork and awesomeness factor out the wahoo will get the high scores. It is sounds far easier than it is. Threadless has it's own flavor of art that it likes in general also. Threadless is it's own special thing that you will not find anywhere else.

  • I agree with you 100% Silverqe. New site is slow. Hate that the live feature is not working at all. I started scoring designs today and the new site freezes on me eventually.

The number of new incredible artwork pieces Threadless used to have on the site to score has gone down percentage wise with the new site changes. I think some artists are not wanting to submit an incredible piece of art right now on the buggy new site. I don't blame them.

  • I do like the new scoring system of how the art is displayed and you can score it easily. I really miss the live feature though.

  • What I did not like about the old Threadless site was how the thumbnail art was displayed when voting on designs(too small and only a section of the art). Design By Humans website has the best system for displaying submission art because you can see the art without clicking on it. Design by Humans website is still better looking and is better functionality wise when it comes to looking at all the design submissions without having to click on any particular submission.

However, Threadless had the live feature on the old site which I preferred. Now I can not see the live feature on the new site. When scoring designs on the new site there are no page numbers to know where you are at??? This is not making it easier to score designs on Threadless. I am not scoring anything on the new site until it works better for me and fits the time I allow myself to spent on this site. The old Threadless site was better than the new one for me personally. The new site needs work. The new site has to save people TIME in doing and finding things on the site. The new site is not saving me any time over the old site. The new site is making things harder for me. What will I do? Not visit this website for awhile and check back to hopefully see some improvements to the point where I actually can enjoy scoring designs again on the new Threadless site in a timely manner.
