You must not understand what I am saying, because there is really no reason to be so offended or so emotional.
Since you do not understand, I shall explain one last time.
This website is a social website. The users on this website interact with each other socially. It is common sense that an individual's conduct in a social environment effects others opinions of them, as well as the way they are judged. The more active a person is in a society, and the longer they have been there, the more people know who they are, and the more their reputation builds. That's how societies work. This site is no different.
You cannot deny that the social aspects of this website have an effect on the scores of design submissions and slogans.
That is my point. FRICKINAWESOME, I used your slogans as examples of this. Not because I don't think they are good slogans, but because it is clear that your reputation and your popularity on this website has a positive effect on the scores of your slogans.
Maybe you personally are completely unbiased when you vote on someones slogan, however unlikely that is. I can tell you for a fact that not everyone will do the same. Some people are going to vote positively on your slogans simply because of who you are, and there is nothing you can do about that.
To suggest otherwise, or that every person who clicks "I'd wear it" sincerely means that is absurd.
I guarantee that if you and I submitted the same exact slogan at the same exact time, after a little while yours would not only have more votes but a higher percentage.
That is because I have little to no reputation on this site, and you are basically a Threadless mini-celebrity.
I don't know why it is offensive to you when I suggest this. That is the main reason I decided to leave this club.
I made this same observation after first joining this club. When I asked about it I received nothing but hostility. It does not make much sense to me be because, after all, I am not saying that the slogans are not good, just that the percentages are not accurate.
I hope that in the future if a new member inquires about how some members scores seem higher then they should be, you guys take the time to explain that a slogans score is not always an accurate indication of it's quality, and a slogans score IS effected by the social aspects of this website.
I'd also like to say that I am not saying all of this because I think that my slogans are under scored. I am not saying this because I am mad about the results of the contest. I am not saying this because I think I am better then anyone. Not because I am butt hurt, pissed off, emotional, jealous, paranoid, or whatever other reason you can think of.
I am saying this simply because it seems that people are either in denial, or do not realize that this is the case.
I hope that is easy enough to understand.
I promise this will be my last post, as this seems to be upsetting people and I see no purpose in continuing further.
P.S. FA, please do submit 2-3 three of my slogans, and don't delete them for at least one month. I guarantee they will score higher under your name.

Thanks, jay. For the record I think yours was a deserving winner.
I was a bit crude with my language and metaphors in my last post. I apologize for that because it makes it seem like a personal attack on FA, and other members of this blog. That was not my intention.
I really like all the people here, even you FA. You are all very nice and extremely friendly.
Also, FA, I love your slogans. Some of them are classic to say the least.
What I said in my last comment was about this blog, and the social and political aspects of it.
I came here because I was looking for a place where slogans were judged accurately. Maybe that was a mistake, because you are right. This is a great place to make friends, have fun, share slogans and all that great stuff.
Unfortunately, I believe, the social aspects of this blog, and Threadless for that matter, have effected the scores of slogans and results of contests. Which is what I was saying about names. Not that you get high percentages because of your "designer" names, but because people recognize them and know you.
It's common sense that you are more likely to vote positively on something if you like, or even just know, the person that did it.
You can chalk this up to me being bitter about not placing in the contest if you like.
The fact is I believe there is an obvious bias on this blog slanting toward the older members. I am sorry if that is offensive to you. That is just the way I see it.
Anyways, the proof is in the pudding. Just look at the slogans I submitted of FA's, the best scoring one is doing 20% worse then the one on his account, and don't try to say thats because people have seen it before.
I'm sorry if I disappointed anyone, I did enjoy my time here.
No hard feelings,
So I tested out this blog for a couple month's, and have decided it gets NoLove from me.
It's pretty much just a big circle jerk for all the "sloganeers" that are on every day, and have been for years.
A great place for people who love to toot their own horns. Just another popularity contest. I suppose thats the road Threadless has been heading down for a while now. This blog is just the epitome of that.
Just look at the results of the latest contest. Laughable to say the least. FA got second place with the two worst slogans on the top 15 list, LOL.
"Conserve gas: Ride a Giant Snail to work."
WTF?! Seriously, who voted for that? Doesn't make sense, and is not funny.
For those of you who have been here a while, if you really believe that your slogan scores are not inflated you must be seriously retarded.
I just submitted three of FA's slogans, I can pretty much guaranty none will get above 30%, they probably won't even come close. Yet, somehow, all three of those got over 50% for FA.
I'm not trying to steal your slogans, I am just trying to prove a point.
I know you are all about to go vote down all my slogans, which is fucked up, but I don't really give a shit.
You guys really need to start voting on these slogans based on the premise that if you do vote for it you would actually be willing to walk around in public with that slogan printed on your shirt. Not because, it made you chuckle and you like the person who submitted it.
Anyways, I should have my new clothing company up and running in about 4 month's, so there really is no need for me to waste anymore time here.
Don't mean to hate, just settin' shit straight.
