  • Fair enough if they just want to sit around in opposition, but if he's done this to make a coalition attractive to the LIbDems, surely they'll need a leader to negotiate the coalition? I mean surely the leader of the Labor party would then be the prime minister in such a coalition, but if they can't get their act together on picking one til September you won't have a prime minister!

  • Yeah, Fine Jersey tees are not the same as Threadless tees. They're made from the same cotton as AA though. From what I can tell by the ones I own, they're made in Mexico.

I think rather than complain about the Bangladesh tees, which are two years old, rarely get used anymore and were confirmed from the start to be made in a WRAP-certified facility we should be asking some questions about these Fine Jersey tees. I asked where they were made when it was first announced that they'd be using them but there wasn't a proper response in the blog. It was suggested I email customer service to find out but I never followed it up. Anyway, it was this blog. It's by Brianne, the customer service manager and the girl who left the message about Threadless tees being responsibly produced taht I quoted before. I'm sure she would have the answers, if you email service@threadless.com she'll get back to you.

  • beanie-o on Feb 19 '08 at 9:42am The shirts are a mix from the US and Bangladesh. The hoodies, long sleeves, Custom color Select tees, and Kids/Baby items are all made in the US. Most of the short sleeve tees are made in Bangladesh. We know that overseas brings up concern of the working conditions, but we are not using sweatshops. The manufacturer we are going thru is a part of several Bangladesh labor groups like:

Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (http://www.bgmea.com) and

Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production Group (http://www.wrapapparel.org)

oh man, I've seen a couple epis - the secret diary of a call girl right? - and it trips me out to see that chick playing that role cos I watched her on Dr Who first.

Imagine how you'd feel if you saw her doing this first:
