  • Also, it's not just the score that decides on if a design prints or not. TL takes into account the designs popularity through the comments as well as what they know will sell. They've got years of experience seeing which designs sell better than others, so sometimes they pick some designs that have scored kinda low, just because they know they will sell in the store. At least that's the impression I get, I don't have any proof, though.

And 2.7 is a good score, and your design is very good.

  • I have always wanted tags/keywords. Even if TL would just tag the printed designs. Right now I can only search for designs by title. I can't just type "video game" and see all the video game designs that have been printed that I want to buy or suggest a reprint. That's the ONE thing that this site absolutely needs. Especially because most people don't title their designs very explicitly, but more cleverly/wittily.

  • This is pretty much amazing.

  • Thanks everyone. I figured since the design refers to FF VII, one of the most popular video games of all time, this play on words would be pretty recognizable. But I suppose most of the popular video game related designs on Threadless are from the 8-bit era. Perhaps 32-bit isn't retro enough? Maybe back to Atari for my next design.
