  • I've had a severe craving for pancakes the last couple of days. I keep telling myself, once my exams are over I got to have some. I just don't have the time to make a proper meal at the moment, so no pancakes for now.

Of course there is always the 24 hours Pancake Parlour which I could drop into at any time, but that would involve actually unchaining myself from my desk (at home and at work), not going to happen this week.

Waffles...are waffles, I don't think they're like pancakes, in texture or appearance. Their awesome nice too.

When I watched this doco, it did make me believe long distance relationships are so difficult - certainly when you weigh up the travel costs, the problems in going to another country and all that, and yet...there's a small glimmer of hope that maybe there is that something indefinable...okay I'll say it "LOVE" which can bring people together...maybe.

  • Reminds me of Paris je T'aime. Not sure if this was your inspiration or not, but that scene made me laugh with the monobrow dude's expression of disgust at the mime

  • Totally yes...I like the design, and what a score on this design, it definitely deserved to be printed. But yeah the whole slit throat thing is also something I'm a bit hesitant about...I'd like to see some more photos of folks in this t-shirt to see what it looks like in different sizes, and the overall effect.

In the photos here, it looks less throat slitting on the women's tee...don't know why that is...the collar maybe.

  • I rarely want to be close friends with my exes. I think its better to have a bit of space after the initial break up, I don't think I could be close friends quickly after a break up. It is just too awkward.

Having said all of this, I don't despise my exes, so I haven't trashed any of them to my friends (that is not to say some of my friends have openly disapproved of some of exes, without my instigating anything).

At the end of the day in order for friendships to work, both parties have got to make an effort to be friends. There's no point to it, if you're putting in the effort and she's spouting off about to her friends (that's uncool). If she truly wants to be friends with you, she'd make an effort to communicate with you directly.

Good luck with moving on...you'll find someone else eventually. Meanwhile enjoy the bachelor life, its not all bad, having a bit more time for yourself.
