Not to be mean, but I don't think the Native Americans who wore war bonnets (Plains Indians) carved totem poles (which come from the Pacific Northwest).
I like the idea, though.

have the ouline on both things, or on nothing.
Having the outline on the wings, but not the skull is distracting
and make them the same style/color palette

lion - just running at you
with the two, it's hard to know where to focus
and it's not apparent that the lion is chasing the baboon because there's no depth.
We can't tell that the lion is behind the baboon, just above the baboon.
Maybe you can add a small horizon line, that might help
and lions are WAY cooler than baboons
