I don't understand how food is converted into energy, but the end result is still crap.

The contest wasn't to do something noone had ever seen, it was to do something we havn't seen 100 times before.

there's plenty of cool designs but they never print them. They really seem to cater to cutesy girly shirts and the artsy fartsy crowd.

  • Listen up everyone that keeps repeating how no birds was a "guideline", not a "rule"...

The whole point of the guidelines was to prevent submissions that were the same old crap. Then they print something that breaks their own guidelines. Basically it's showing some serious disrespect for anybody that took the time to submit something original. "Oh, we were just kidding about the originality thing. Here's a bird shirt".

Fortunately I didn't submit anything, so I'm not offended. That doesn't change the fact that they really dropped the ball on this print. I agree that the combo t-shirts (gator and mermaid) should've won.

  • This may very well be the worst design Threadless has ever printed, especially since the theme was "something original" but they printed bird sub #2,435,089.

I say worst design printed because this may be the only shirt that actually looks like nothing without close inspection.

Part of a good design is creating something that looks good from more than 1 foot away. This is a noisy mess.

  • Hooray, another shirt design that'll tell the world I'm a pretentious introvert and I'm probably very sensitive to emotions! Wooo!
