"yeah, I was thinking about adding background crayons, thanks all for your imput:) do most of you like the text? Also, if i change this down the road, can i resubmit? (this is my first entry) "
i think you could add some background crayons, it would help people recognize the idea faster. however, i do not think you need the text. "brightest crayon in the box" is a popular enough saying that most people would get it. text cheapens a design with a clear illustration. if they dont get it, then they are dumb.
and YESSSS! you can resubmit.
most people, however, do not like white or yellow shirts, so you might want to stay away from those.

this site gives artists the opportunity to showcase their creativity and profit from it.
by posting a design on this site and giving no credit to anyone but yourself, you are saying, i created this. this is my original work in every way.
if you sample someone elses art, you should give credit to that source. simple as that. no longer can you claim the design to be entirely yours.
how many people do you think have come up with that visual do you think?
even the children themselves. their wardrobes. their placement. the balloons! do you really believe he has never seen that poster before? if so, i suppose thats what people mean by saying great minds think alike. .....really alike.
apparently the reason why this site is flooded with plagiarism is because people do not think it is wrong. as long as it is neatly covered up.

give credit where credit is due.
so what youre saying is that style is all that matters, concept is intangible?
trust me. if you were a professional artist and someone completely took your copyrighted work without permission, drew it in a different style and entered it into a contest for money as their own work, you would care.
and you would be pissed.
