BigO, the evidence for the big bang can be quite simple, as it can be observed that there is much of the universe moving away from us, and the is also much of the universe we are moving away from. Calculating the speeds and directions of the movement it can be traced back to one point, where the big bang started. As for what was before the big bang, some believe the universe will stop expanding and fall back in on itself just to explode again, as it perhaps has happened before.
I have nothing against the bible as being a set of guidelines on how to live your life (good to your fellow man etc) but when people start taking it as the absolute truth thats when it begins to be worrying. When you look back at history people believed we were at the centre of the universe, which is wrong, the sun rotated around the earth, which was wrong, it just shows that while the human ego can create theories which put us in the limelight, science proves that we are just organisms on a planet among billions who were lucky enough to evolve to have a sense of self.
and about you being a girl, i dunno, you just seemed feminine. you're right though, im not a girl, although its kinda obvious when my name has 'mr' in it...

For some reason I assumed that BigODrummer was a girl, I'm not attacking the guy as many others have, I thought I'd just say. Although the non-belief in evolution is scary, was that serious? I thought people with a decent education had access to the kind of information that gives evidence to the Big Bang and such, oh hang on I think I'm indirectly attacking BigO. Back to the tee, I like it, and it's the first time I've heard the phrase. The fact it's sparked so much debate is frightening, although perhaps it could be used for another design where the whole debate is copied and pasted onto a tee, maybe in the shape of a crucifix...? A-ho ho...
