  • Thanks to all of you, there are a lot of good points to consider, and a truly appreciate it. i see how the first two can take away from the punchline and how a background that brings it together a bit more is needed. Loosening up the lines and changing some of the shapes too i can see will help the clip artish feel. I was also concerned w/ it being a done thing before. I may add a few more elements into it, but not to take away from the original ideas. I'll post up an edited and updated version soon.
Again, I can't say enough how much I appreciate all your feedback and tips! Thank you!

  • Thanks Salty. I agree w/ u there, I may consider like a door and have them at the door step. I see what you mean as far as the second and first looking virtually identical. I'ma play w/ that a bit.

  • Thanks Christina, I appreciate the critique. Think I will try the idea w/ the other two pumpkins into like :P and :) maybe, and see how it turns out. I was trying also to really show the confusion of the middle one. I may add like a crow or raven and have him looking confused at all 3. =)

  • I'd like a tutorial using templates. I've just finishd a design that I'm about to present. I'm new to using Illustrator and Photoshop and having trouble with understanding if the flat copy is just a jpeg, or all the layers for the drawing itself put flat and into sub layer. I've looked online and seen that others have had similar issues.

Also I'm more familiar w/ Illustrator and vector than I am w/ photoshop. maybe a tutorial on how to use the psd template w/ the Illustrator format.

    Thanks,
