I promise I had no intention of doing any kind of genital stuff. They're just three innocent friends who have similiar interests. I really didn't consider them being naked, but then again, I didn't really think of them as human, just friends. It's all about unity. and ears.

I wish I could say that I drew the illustration, but neither I or Jimbo (or whoever did James Mathus's cd art) did the original. It was originally a woodcut done in the early 1800s by a man named Thomas Bewick. I found that main illustration and some other elements, the head, the wings, in a book of public domain illustrations published by Dover called "1800 woodcuts by Thomas Bewick and his school" and composed the final piece for the shirt. If you get a chance you should find the book, it has thousands of fantastic images, all free for public use. Sorry Tammy for the confusion, but thanks for turning me onto James Mathus. I had no idea he was a fellow Mississippian. What a small world. But while we're plugging, you should listen to anything by Chris Whitley. simply fantastic.
