I'm a married mother of two living in the South. I also play mom to a menagerie of animals (even a sweetie rat named Kiwi!). I used to be a horror writer until I got a severe case of writer's block (otherwise known as hell); after that, I decided to return to art.
I show in galleries around Nashville, as well as participate in shows around the U.S. I have two Etsy shops (currently on hiatus), and am branching out into photography.
My influences and inspirations include Edward Gorey, Roman Dirge, Sir John Tenniel, Jose Posada, Roald Dahl, Lane Smith, Mary Engelbreit, and Mercer Mayer.
When I'm not hunched over drawing and gluing, I occasionally garden, experimentally bake, and fanatically enter stuff in the state fair.
