after reading all the comments...I think I am going to remove this item from my cart. Too bad, the design is really cute. If the quality of the shirts is indeed as bad as the reviews indicate, then it would be a shame and disrespect to the designer.

bilong92 on Nov 15, 2012 at 14:32:17

I would have bought this shirt but the reviews are scaring me...

jokiddingright on Nov 13, 2012 at 18:35:54

To Threadless powers-that-be: Can we get this on thicker material? All the reviews say it's an issue of bleeding ink. I adore the design, but these reviews make me nervous and I always end up removing this shirt from my cart.

I hope no one else will make the same mistake I did. I was in a hurry when I was ordering this t-shirt and didn't read the comments. And I really regret it. If I knew that I'm buying something like that for a gift for my girlfriend I would never do that.
The print was made on a really badly pressed t-shirt which caused white, empty places all over it. It was made so badly that it's partly visible on the back side of this shirt.
And of course like many of you said earlier I had to tear the shirt apart because it was "glued". When I did it, some of the ink or whatever it is left on the inside of the back and it's really uncomfortable to wear.
Yes the design is amazing but on that shirt looks crappy and it's definitely not worth even those $9.99. I really wonder if people who make this shirt are reading those comments, because for me it seems they didn't improve at all since the first complain. So please! DON'T BUY IT!

My issue with this shirt wasn't how thin it is (which is is really thin), but the sizing seemed wrong, I ordered a medium like I usually do and this one shirt is more like a large.

darn, was going to buy this but sounds as if its still on the below par shirts that i thought had been pulled

I'd like to see this in Boat Neck design.

I received this t-shirt today, though I ordered and received it before reading any of these comments.

I don't mind that the t-shirt is thin (I live in the tropics) or that it is long (I'm a busty girl, extra material means it's the *right* length for me!)

I was pretty confused to find I had to peel the shirt open though... as suggested below, it's like the ink seeped through the material and stuck the two sides together, and I was scared of tearing the shirt. There are some prickly patches inside too, now that I've separated it.

I am also a little disappointed in the quality of the print compared to the photos shown on this page. The pandas are a little "wonky". It is a beautiful design and from a distance it's eye-catching, but up close you can see the pandas don't quite look right.

Disclaimer: I seem to have got this at half-price of $12.99 so perhaps it was discounted due to a dodgy batch? It would have been nice to know before ordering, if so.

If anyone buys this shirt after me, I would love to know if it's worth re-ordering at $24.99 to get a better quality print.

First time for me ordering from Threadless. I bought 2 shirts and the other is great. Really don't know how much I'll use this site. Some beautiful designs on here, but shipping is exensive for me so it's disappointing when the quality isn't as expected.

I have the same problem with one of the comments below,
quote: "And as a note to all, the cotton tee material (made in india) is really paper thin this time; such that the printing ink kinda seeped in and made the inside so sticky."
Ordered end of July 2012, the ink seemed to have seeped in and there are a lot of small blotches of ink that feel very prickly all over, this is the first tee I've received like this.

sarah_bwmn on Jun 28, 2012 at 10:10:57

We did have a batch of tees that definitely weren't up to our quality standards. However, we listened to all the feedback we got and have since pulled them. We're currently printing on much better quality tees and we're also pretty excited to have new custom tees in the works. The t-shirt arrived in the mail today. I agree with many of the comments below, I am pretty disappointed and likely won't shop Threadless again. The shirt is very thin, and the cut is very long for a large. Seems very cheap and unwearable, a waste of money. The design and print are great however.

Was really looking forward to this tee, but after the comments I'll be holding off.

Concur with many of the comments here. A brilliant design, but flawed execution. I could live with the medium t-shirt being way longer and a little bigger than Threadless' norm, but the very blurry print is majorly disappointing :(
Certainly not up to Threadless' usually high standard.
