Nobody saw that this design is a copy of this design?? It is not cool with original artworks!!

its even better then original, lol
It's a shame such an established and talented artist would go there, he totally has the ability to create something this good without copying.
More weirdness, Dandingeroz says his collab partner made the Iron Man part, and he did the background... Here's a WIP blog? ...a lot of trouble went into back engineering it ...or none, whichever.
It looks like it isn't a trace or filter/recolour job
meh, they look different enough to me... it's obvious the artist was drawing based on that image but it doesn't look like a trace to me.
Dandingeroz is an experienced illustrator thats made some amazing work, I don't think this is typical of him at all. I'm sure there is some logic reason for this. If this was a one time wonder then I'd be more suspicious.
I really dont think its a traced, he could have used the image as a reference, but he was probably just trying to stay consistent with Iron Man, Looked up the other artists and he is really good as well.
If it was a regualr submission I would have been more inclined to saying it was too close but since its for Iron Man I feel like its fine, and it is a lot different, feel like its a ton of trouble trying to trace something and slightly changing everything while doing it?
yeah, I agree after seeing the two together like that. It's almost like because it's been so well rendered it looks more like a knockoff, than say if it was a more cartoony, outlined illustration in the same pose. I think for the Iron Man contest i'd lean toward it being ok as well.
This is what happens when a contest doesn't leave much room for creativity.

That does make sense.
I agree, some of these contest bottleneck the entries into a couple categories, 'the same old promo images that already exist' and 'the same old promo images that don't yet exist'

Yeah, I don't see a problem with this. It may be the same pose, but it's a different illustration, different lighting, different technique, body shape etc... Surely Marvel owns rights to the likeness of Ironman, not any individual artist, so it's wouldn't be a breach of copyright. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I guess what I'm saying is, if you're going for a faithful rendering, there's not much you can alter in terms of what he looks like. And what does any artist have to go off but previous works?

Hi Bert I know your wondering but to defend my self that was a collab LOL :D My friend did that IRON MAN and he hit me up to do a collab with him I added only some textures and building in the background. My only fault was I did not did any research about that reference.
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH LOL
