ok thanks. that's not what i was going for.

I hoped it would mean something like "you fill me" like in an emotional way. but i guess that's not something you would say...

xtiffany

You "complete" me. ?

SuperRyan

xtiffany

I've been approved by SuperRyan. Oh, the honor.

Thanks guys i guess that's as close as it gets to what i wanted although it loses a bit of the ambiguity i get on portuguese.

taz-pie

^ fuck yes

jaypaulo

Haha, great, it also crossed my mind. i'll work on this and then decide: romantic/evil vs raunchy/evil

thanks guys

HI guys

Isn't there a hamburger design with the text, I want to be inside you????

jaypaulo
jaypaulo profile pic Alumni

Yes I know that shirt. Is that reason enough not to chose it? I am more focused in the " something good that turns out to be evil" part of the joke.

Manupix

I had no idea it was a meme already. I googled it and there's lots of versions: toast, beer, food, tape, bed, gameboy, football etc. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be a coffin yet =) I like both expressions. * not helpful *

I like the blue background version's expression. Kind of sexy, maybe sinister. Great idea dude.

Thanks a lot guys Trying some alternatives. Is you fill me with joy something you would say?

uglyducknyc

sorry, but no

trying to think of something else...

jaypaulo
jaypaulo profile pic Alumni

:) Thanks dude

uglyducknyc

I just thought of something that would work:

"You fill me up"

Without the "you", it's a common phrase for getting gas at a station.

With "you", it was used in the lyrics of a Staind song.

Thanks for the insight, mate. I am not familiar with the saying but I'll consider it and see what people say about it. I'll also came up with "I want to protect you". I think it works too.

I love the You Fill Me Up one, regardless of the raunchy side (that i find sweet as well!). Yet , thought of "We complete each other" "I feel empty without you" "You are my other half" sort of thing?

v_calahan
v_calahan profile pic Alumni

…"you make me complete"… oh and forgot to mention the "I want you inside me" that I dig too!

jaypaulo
jaypaulo profile pic Alumni

Great suggestions! I like I feel empty without you the most although it requires a sadder face

Good Morning :)

uglyducknyc

One color

"You fill me up" works as is

"I feel empty without you" would need more work on the coffin's expression. Right now I can't read what its expression is. It needs to be a sigh.

LMAO

I don't like the design or the joke but I think the background is cool. ;)

I liked "You complete me." best. It's three words, referential, and cheesy; plus, Tom Cruise played a vampire who slept in a coffin.

The less words you use, the less awkward it sounds. How about, "I'm empty without you." I think that sounds nicer.

"You complete me." would be hilarious though!
