Sneak peeks of your work! Post 'em here!

Hey, everyone! I just thought it would be cool if we could share some pics of the process all in a blog. So feel free to post sneak peeks of your current work in progress. Also, it could be another way to see how we work on design and such. And you could start a guess game on what you're doing! It could be fun!

This isn't Threadless-related, but it is a piece I've been working on this weekend. It's for a competition with the theme "Illustrate your city". Huge GIF of the the process:

Wow, that's cool!! Really a great perspective you used there. Also, great effect on the water falling on the umbrella. Keep it up!

Wow both of those previews look excellent. Michele I think I see where your design is going and approve. Inkdummy your linework, composition, and concept or top notch on this illustration.

I want to see this blee-arg continue, so . . .

Here is mine:

For the entire composition refer to the original sketch:

@Josh: Whoa! Those classy whales in robotic suits are really imaginative! @Davii (and Mr.Wharton up there): post your own work, i'm sure you're cooking some great stuff (even if it's not Threadless related).

ok, just to show you how badly I actually draw. it's pretty embarrassing, I'm warning you.

So somehow at one point this......

....turns into this. The process is still a mystery to me.

i kind of want to do a design playing off the hashtag symbol... like have it tagging something (graffiti)... not really sure where i'm headed with it...

@Lidija: well, if you weren't good at drawing, i think that piece wouldn't have turned that great. Also, doodles are always cool, because they represent how the very first idea you had, translate into reality.

@Ryder: that could be a great idea these days. Keep it up! Also, i'd suggest to make the horizontal lines more like parallelograms than rectangles ( just like the vertical ones).

@philip: seems like i can't see what you posted. Try to repost it.

Yey! points to Manu for getting it!

The waves need to be changed tho.

micheleficeli

No way i would have got it. Also, didn't know about the Schrödinger's cat paradox till today (i'm ignorant, i know...), even if maybe i can recall a friends of mine talking about something similar when he was trying to explain me that electrons are not actual objects like a tiny spheres floating around. Cool stuff, btw. I've to say you'all are more productive than me, but i'm prepping something for this blog, only thing i don't know when i'll post it. And that time cop is cool, too.

Still working on the previous pencil art; it's complicated. In the mean time, here is a teaser of a Knit design I am working on called "Double Dragon." About to submit so watch-out!

close up peek at my loves vintage

I'm kind of freaking out a little about how to translate my pen lines into photoshop. It's going to be a btch trying to get all the white out without screwing up the ink color.
