Are you sending print ready pdfs to the printers? or is there some other magical way?

That is definitely the easiest option. I have to do three separate layouts though. The endsheets, the cover/back/spine, and the actual pages.

3/21/13 UPDATE

So even though it looks like I have raised my goal and my project will get funded...APPARENTLY there is also a percentage of payments that are not received and this counts against your funding. Basically to guarantee funding, I need a nice cushion to cover any money that doesn't actually get paid after the project ends :( HELP!!!!

Abstract Matter

My pay just came in, i'm gonna pledge right now.

I hope it's not too little! It's all I can afford but i'm really glad i'll get a signed hardcover. Want to start being all sentimental and collecting stuff that inspires me to have around my workspace

Every bit helps! I hope to make it well worth the $! :D

My Visa card expires at the end of the month so I hope that doesn't mess things up. I activated my new card, not sure how the pledge is processed though... through paypal, or amazon?

Through amazon - if the card fails you will get an email with a link to update the payment info. Apparently some people just don't.

I'm at 112% right now, which I think is fairly safe...but of course no guarantees (which is dumb).

Spectacular! They look great man that's awesome im actually in the process of illustrating my children's book and these look so great! Mind if I ask who you got the printed through?

Hey Johnny! I got mine printed through Artful Dragon Press - but there are loads of companies! I would strongly suggest getting quotes and samples form a few companies before you decide to go with.

Bit dangerous opening that box with a stanley knife...what if the covers got marks because of it. Still, I didn't see another quicker way of doing it.
