Out of curiousity, how many prefer using Photoshop over Illus or vice versa for their design?
I use both equally.
Illustrator. It puts the ILL back in...uh...illustrator.
It kind of depends what you're doing. I do all of my illustrating in photoshop. I do a lot of hand drawn looking more organic type illustration. For a cleaner vector design illustrator is probably better.
also I'm clueless with illustrator but I use photoshop all the time for, whattya know, photos.
it depends, but i like Illustrator a lot better.
I use both, but usually initially create in Photoshop then bring it into Illustrator. Illustrator drives me insane because it's so damned tedious.
awesome :D thanks to those who responded... I have sketches I want to bring in to either Photoshop or Illustrator and I've been debating on which would be best for what. I suppose it's more of the style I'm looking for which should determine which tool I should be using. Anyhow, thanks for thee comments! :D
Photoshop. But only because I don`t know how to use Illustrator well enough.
Combo of both, of course.
Illustrator. I only use Photoshop to create the presentation.
