...yep. That was the point.
lol. good catch!!!
that's exactly what my reaction was.
I just listened to that song THIS morning! So sad... :( a month after that song was released...
hmmmmmm i don't think there's a connection. let's just chock this one up to coincidence eh??
Considering the Joy Division song "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is one of their most commercially successful songs and the art for their album "Unknown Pleasures" has become a Joy Division iconic symbol, I'd HARDLY call this shirt a coincidence
...if I never hear that song again it will be too soon.
I'm going to second that "duh" up there. Way to get the joke, dude.
perhaps i should have added a ;) to my comment to better convey my jest
wow. yeah. you are a hero now. thank you.
isn't this shirt all about reference to the joy division artwork?
who is joy division?
Gavin, all I'm going to say is that your (blissful) ignorance on this issue is like a protective aural-bubble...
How the hell was I confused by the obviousness of this reference? Did I even post this blog???
I guess the point I was making is that the idea seemed more of a rip-off than a tribute.
I should just shut up now.
