Science has been known to over complicate things at times; but then there are times that it improves our culture!

I'm open to far more color options

mmmm toast.....

J-Ray

Very interesting. I would like metallic silver ink on black.

CatocalaFraxini

Hehe, it's great!
I would definitely wear it! I like the blue ink on brown background best! If it ended up in those colours I would buy it right away!

adhjeroen

yes!! great idea, I love it...
You played The Incredible Machine too?

raemelle

Very cool. But it makes me realize that people would be spending an awful lot of time staring at my chest in order to look at the detail and follow the change reaction.

But other than the uncomfortable attention I would get, I love it a lot! Very very sweet.

raemelle

chain not change.

funny

lauracake

i love this idea for the contest

ddtozone

Good idea. 5

Alpha Ryan

cool, but it seems to me there is some weird stuff going on with the stuff at the top right. The way it looks to me, there is a chord hanging from the ceiling that does nothing and the bread isn't at its center of gravity

Alpha. I don't know if you will see this; but if you are referring to the post behind the balloon, it's there to stop the balloon from moving back when the fan turns on. It wouldn't work other wise ;)
the other comment about the bread is true but it needs to be that way. It's held up by the rope (that will get burnt) the main support is the top rope so it will just flip down and in.

Wait a minute... is this all so necessary? just sit back and enjoy (please)

Thanks!!

tinahyena

really cool i like it a lot but i'm trying to figure out how the rope/ toast part works. what is that thing hanging down what does it do and which rope burns?

i think about these things...gave you a 4

ohitsxnicole

This reminds me of a Rube Goldberg Project i'm doing in Science right now [For those of you who don't know Rube Goldberg, he was a cartoon artist that made simple things... difficult.]

scottyup

i totally have lived this, haha. ♥ engineering

Ecoli13

i love toast

laurenchemistry

Dark background, light ink - great! Especially green and brown.

MooCowMoo

Haha! I like it :D

ToxiicYouth

this is awesome x 34857606

tinahyena - the first rope gets burnt by the magnify glass (x3 I might add) and falls as the second burns, dropping the weight which pushes the toaster leaver down.

BigODrummer

The whole mechanism works guys but really sit back and enjoy the idea and art of it all. It's great! Well done oJimo! 5!

persica9

Are there any original design styles anymore? Seems like everyone mimics everyone else on this site.

aalexander

Great idea! I like it.

jam_pot

Wite or silcver on black would look good.

TheZeroKid

Nice work, I love the green on black $5

stoked

I like it. One question, does anything turn on the toaster???

UnArMeD

I WANT ONE!!!!

MUST HAVE!!!

BigODrummer

stoked - the magnifying glasses burn through 2 ropes. One drops the toast and one drops a weight...to turn on the toaster.

Petanca

Very cool!

Miss_Beasley

I love this! The green on brown looks especially awesome. $5!!

Slinkey Binky

hmm... i should try that...
definitly a 5!

Willish

This is intense and extremely original and awesome.
Green on brown is neat but purple on black or silver on black would also rock.

tinahyena

OH THAT'S HELLA SICK!! i didn't know that thing was a weight. thanks for clearing it up.

The Winged Self

hahahaha. I went through that whole thing to see how it worked

sunbeam

probably i'd change the green...
