Is it tasteless?
ha ha ha!
maybe a little - but it tickled me!
I so love your animals - great style
doesn't need the text. those animals are great on their own.
No text please.
ha ha... ha...
its five hundred times better without the text- real cute.
I'm too dumb to get it. Someone please explain.
i concur... no text
I think "getting the painter's in" is a euphemism the British use for a girl on her period. I kinda wouldn't want that on a shirt (if that's even what you were referring to) but a lot of people probably wouldn't understand it anyway. Without the text, though, the animals are cute.
I like the shirt, and yeah, the animals are really cute. And while I like it, I don't personally feel a need to tell everyone when I've got my period. So with the text, I wouldn't buy it. Without, I would consider buying it. And if that's not what the underlying meaning is, well, I'd go with a different color shirt. ;)
their faces look very funny, haha.
but i would remove the text.
I don't think anyone at my school would understand this one.
Waa!! your characters are awesome!
i like the illustration style ^__^
I think your'e all right! - I sort of knew that the text was'nt right as soon as I'd submitted it. Oh well - that's life!
text is easily removed
love your illustrations
Thans - that's very kind of you!
if it was a white shirt, red paint, id would be classic
Love the animals but don't feel the need to advertise menstruation
def agree with twoshay
lose the text... ahem
wow totally missed the whole period reference until i read the comments. if it werent for the text id probaby buy it. however, i could always just hope the nobody else got it either...
i love it.
I feel like there's something I'm missing here.
Get rid of text, it ruins so many shirts
hahaha, funny. $5
Not sure I understand, but it's cute!
No text & 5$
You just gave me a really good idea but I don't know if anyone would wear it. If you did more of a literal "got the painters" on the silhouette of a female body...
no. cute design and execution, but not for a shirt. no.
Oh please dont print this, I have so many whys and no answers. I( dont have words for this submission. I scored it 1 higher than the rhino tee though.
Get a sense of humour transplant Tee-Funk - your obviously too cool for school... twat!
Ha ha ha... you read my mind Frogmore!
Text ruins already questionable image. I like yoiur color choice, though.
I think it would be better without the text. Really cute animals!!!
awwww boys dont get it :D lol.... very nice.
yeah, i like it better without text too, you can imagine morewithout it. Cute! they look very pleased with themselves.
Although I really like and find the font suiting, I think the image can stand alone without the phrase --but then again I had to read the comments in order to get it. If it holds significance to you, you should keep it, but in my opinion red paint on a white T-shirt would make the message more clear.
i got it the moment i saw it... and i agree w/ the comment immediately before mine -- you're under the color limit -- make some red paint scrolls like they've been brushed or rolled onto a white (or black) shirt, and ditch the text.
i have no qualms wearing shirts about periods. i used to have a 'vinnie's tampon case" shirt once upon a time, w/ the words: "your period doesn't have to be a drag".. the front was a drag car promoting the cases.
yay menstrual humour.
The dramatic feminine irony. Oh yeah, I spotted it.
Cute, funny. Red paint on a white shirtthough. But I don't think I would wear a shirt about my period. ...unless it was something like "I'm on the RAG! Get out of my way!"
Never heard this British expression for it before.
"if it was a white shirt, red paint, id would be classic "
fuck it, advertise mensturation
Please take a look at new changed version on my profile....
No text - red paint on white T... much better - thanks all!
i think this is hillarious
the text makes people think
without the text it has no meaning
i would so wear it
minus the text and a less BAM color.. the red reminds me of dr seuss or something.. $4
"got the painters in"
does that refer to the size of the elephant and hippo?..
Love the illustration.
FAB I love your style. reminds me childhood books. it's so expressive : wonderfull
..HAHAHAHA :) i luv your style! do u have a website?
