Do androids dream in 8-bit? ?__?

Sometimes, simple > super detailed, and your mission for this challenge is to create art using the atoms of the virtual world: pixels! Think big by thinking tiny; simplify a beautiful landscape into a 16-bit scene. Reimagine the "March of Progress" evolution of man image by showing the evolution of _graphics_ throughout the decades. Make pixelation the new pointillism with an all-over pixelated pattern, or turn every day items into adorable, sprite versions of themselves.

We're chomping at the 8-bit to see what you come up with. So turn on some chiptunes, switch to that 'square' brush in Photoshop, and maybe blow the dust off of the 'ol SNES - do whatchu gotta do to see the world through pixelated lenses and get in the zone!
