Draw on a picture, it’ll last longer!
Picture this: Mixed media art is like the mashup song of the visual art world. And we want you to have some fun with mashing up photography and illustration by using photos as a canvas to draw on. Channel your inner Warhol and pop-artify a portrait with splashes of crazy color. Draw trippy animal heads onto pics of your friends. Comic bookize photos of people by adding thick ink outlines and pantone dots, or “put a bird on it” by drawing birds into a nature picture.
The only rules are 1: to use your own photos or ones that are free for commercial use with modification, and 2: to let your imagination run wild.
