The charm of mid-century modern illustration is the fact that it looks futuristic and retro all at the same time. For this challenge, create a design that would look right at home on your Grandma's "1940s-1960s" dream board. Go with the retro-futuristic look that brings to mind the art of _The Jetsons_ or opening credits of _I Dream of Jeannie_. Bring in iconic design elements of the time - bold color pops, stars and boomerang shapes, martini glasses - for a retro pattern. Create a fake movie poster that you might see at a '50s B-movie night at a drive-in, or channel retro pop illustrations worthy of being a New Yorker cover back in the day.

Now go make like Don Draper and sell us the mid-century modern American dream.
