Hey fellow Threadlessians. I am a drummer in a very young band and we need a name. We have been discussing names for about a month and we need to pick one for sure. PLEASE COMMENT WITH SOME BAND NAME IDEAS!
signs I have been spending too much time in the blogs lately:
- I'm still pale.
- The finger I use to scroll through comments I've already read is starting to hurt. wwaaaa
- uh, I just stay up too late
- I'm missing SNL! crap!
I have a job offer that would put me in PA around the time of threadfest.
It would be in Erie, PA and I don't know how far that is from the PA fellows. I was thinking I could head out there just before that weekend. Then FnA, Tracer and I could meet up, drive up to grab Space, and jet over to the party.
We could come back when people need to and I could finish my job. It's not a high paying job, but rather than put the money towards student loans or rent, I could use it to go party with strangers from the internet.
Shit i done drawnded.
It is 6:34am. Haven´t slept all night. zzzz
Apparently I just scored every single damned design on this website.
Have I nothing better to do with my life?
"From Atlantis to Interzone, You Start At The End And You End On Your Own"
...ermm,whatever it means, i'm just here to give a good'ol high five to all the lads in the area!
I've always said that I want to marry things that I like...even food. So I remarked that I wanted to marry cotton candy, and my mom said it'd be good because I'd have no trouble getting an annulment since my husband would be dead after I ate it. Then I thought...hey I'll even take out a life insurance policy on it...lol so here are my husbands 1.cotton candy 2.creme brulee 3.ice cream 4. coconut 5.funnel cake 6.milk
Any threadlessers in Australia (victoria) next weekend are welcome to a Pirate party to celebrate my 40th birthday.
I finally bought shirts from threadless, after admiring for... probably over a year now.
does anybody want to explain whats up with all the dp's of people standing backwards on their hands and feet? some kind of CRAZE!?
I saw a girl wearing a Flowers in the Attic hoodie in Newcastle airport at about 7.30 this morning. It's always cool to have that recognition dawn on you.
I found this on youtube with this is the explanation
"trata bien a tu madre por que si no mr t se aparecera en tus sueños para convertirlos en pesadillas con la "magnificas rimas" de esta "cancion" wahahahahahahaha xDDDDD
treat your mother right if not do it mr t will apear in your dream to turn it in nigtmares with the "fantastics rymes" of this "song" wahahahahahahaha xDDDDD"
Or two... in the works. :-D
So awhile ago I posted a blog asking for ruined Threadless shirts - shirts that people just don't wear anymore, and aren't able/don't want to sell. The plan? Make a quilt from those tees!
Some people responded, and I've been able to get started!!!
UPDATE 3: blonde8007 also sent shirts!!
In fact, I now have enough tees to make 2 quilts. So in addition to the one I'm making for myself, I'm making a quilt to auction/raffle off for charity. (Charity TBD - I have some ideas, but if anyone else knows of a great charity, send me the details.) EDIT: I wanted anyone who really cared to have a shot, not just the people with the largest check... I couldn't figure out how to do an online raffle with all the weird laws for raffles, so instead, I'm having a contest to win the quilt!
Here are the tees I have, all cut up into 11x11 inch squares. Their final sewn size will be about 10x10 inches, and the quilts will be 7 squares x 7 squares. So each quilt will have 49 squares with printed designs. (Plus there will be a solid-colored border - the back will also be solid.) The final size - approximately 80" x 80" - will be large enough to go on a full- or queen-sized bed.
UPDATE 4: Quilt for
charity contest is being constructed! And I've even got photo evidence!!
Here are the squares for the quilt
I'll auction/raffle off for charity that I'm giving away in the contest. I put fusible interfacing on the back of all 49 squares - took way more time than I anticipated!
And columns of squares, just waiting to be sewn together!
Three columns sewn together! 4 more to go!
UPDATE 5: Top is almost done, just needs the border

Hey Threadless, long time no see. Anyway, I've got a band from Austin, TX that wants some artwork and I was just curious as to what I should charge them for the job. They're not sure if they want original artwork or something that I've already posted on MySpace, so it's still up in the air. If any of you guys have any suggestions of how much I should ask for, let me know because I have no clue. The link to the band and my myspace profile is posted below.
Has everyone pre-ordered their tickets for Rush Hour 3 yet? I heard Chris Tucker is in this one.
A woman tries to buy all of the iphones at the opening of a store and gets completely pwned. What a twat.
