Who's your inspiration in when it comes to arts and designs? Post some photos or links of their works.

My style was inspired by Phil Tseng. Adorable characters with faces. Also, I'm trying to learn Alex Solis' technique when it comes to lines and shading.

i don't really have any inspiration anymore....just life. other than folk art, i haven't really looked at anything in the "artisitic" world in probably a decade or so.

here's one place near me i love to go when i can:

Hickory Museum of Art

If you get off on the elevator you immediately experience being surrounded by heaven and/or hell with audio to boot....really powerful....especially growing up in the south.

That video doesn't really convey the power of some of the pieces that are on display there. It literally is like walking through people's view of history when you go there. One of the most powerful art exhibits I have ever seen.

@Thomas, you have a very wide variety of inspiration.

@BeanePod, thanks the link. Watched it. :) The museum is so relaxing with all those arts.

Recently I've looked to the designs of Bokien, AlexMDC, Ben Chen, Lev Man and Gebe to find stylistic inspiration. I'm in awe of Bokein's, Dandingeroz's, Ronin84's and Nikoby's illustrative work.

Julian Beever amazes me with his pavement drawings.

Sorry for posting so many, but I think it's freakin' cool.

So much awesome art in this thread.

Also Gary Larson's far sides have always been an inspiration to be clever and funny. I love his stuff.
