I like the dust and scratchiness of it.

I'm thinking "Invasion" for the sky: a double/triple sun and an earth spacecraft(s) in descent mode...

hmmm, I guess people are so buried in the "vote for me, I'll vote for you" blogs they're missing this :-\

this is looking super nice right now. i would agree with what uglyduck said and add something to it to strengthen it. a sillouette of something in the sky part of the design. of what? who knows but there is a lot of negative space there, could be put to use. its also great as it is though.

thanks a lot! I'm still searching for something to add in the sky. something flying.. Yes negative space has to be used!

Manupix

moon version = 5$ =)

uglyducknyc

the moon and stars look really good

I like the simpler Palette #2

I really like the first one, but I think the second will do better with voters. :-)

the clouds look weird and the bright pink in the upper right of the mountains throws the color scheme off for me. the shooting star looks good

micheleficeli

Do you really did it all drawing every lines?!? Crazy! Couldn't you have used a layer mask and just draw casually behind it, then just select the mask, invert it and delete what's unnecessary? Not sure if that could have been possible, but the way you say you did it seems to be a lot of pain, and you should just deserve a print for that.

Anyway, it's looking good, but i've to agree the clouds are looking too much pixelated compared to the rest of the drawing. Cannot decide which version is better.

The clouds do not look organic enough. They're also way too chunky and blob-like. I dont think they are necessary.

Have you tried switching up the colors and making it a sunrise? Obviously place it on a different color shirt too.

Thanks for your inputs. So the clouds look weird The more liked palette is n#2 (I'll improve it and show it on the sub mocckup)

I'll try the sunrise, thanks Eric.

@ Rag : I did'nt really draw every line, I selected every pixel into the main layer, and then draw on a new mask , above it!

I still love the palette #1, so I'll show it as an alternative one.

ignzed

Love palette one! And awesome WIP blog.

I prefer the new, simpler clouds. The lumpy, contrasty clouds in Palette 1 are too visually heavy.

uglyducknyc

the clouds are better now and I think they help transition from the land to sky. still prefer palette #2

Crap, I love palette 1, reminds me of some subtle kilims… An no clouds, the fact they are grey bothers me more than their geometry, and probably also because they don't fit with the angle of the shooting star. But that's me. Tshaw!

Great speakerine!

Did you test for giving an effect that the color fades away sideways ...

I think something:

thank you all! I agree totally with you Victor, I won't put those poor clouds.

palitosci, thanks a lot for the mockup, but I would like the border lines go near the side seams of the tee..

I actually like placement A even though the cut-off is really abrupt. The colors are beautiful. The whole design looks like a graph or chart so it sort of makes sense to me that it cuts off at the sides.
