Memento Mori

"Memento mori" is a Latin phrase translated roughly as "remember, you will die". Everything in the image (beside the girl) is a superstition of impending death...the middle person in a photo of three people will be the first to die, a white moth or robin in a house means death will follow in the house, six crows mean death, and an hourglass is the symbol of the limited time we have. I think of the girl as taunting death that may soon come for her.
