I'm pretty sure this would need the "simulated process" printing technique.
This is my favorite of all the Noir Tees. This is the one.
woah man. heavy.
Interesting. The painting feel is very nice.
Not only is this original and well-executed , but it looks great on a shirt! 5$
Awesome Artwork, very different from the rest.

This is very similar to the splash screen of Autodesk's iPad drawing app.
Thanks for the encouragement everybody!
@bryanw - I fully admit I've seen that before maybe a year ago (on the artist's blog ) so it might have been kicking around in my subconcious and I'm kinda surprised how similar they are now. Looks like we probably used the same reference pic - I googled "rain splash dark" and really liked an image I found on the second page or so and went from there: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FIxHpd3_8MY/S-shr7mOkZI/AAAAAAAAAMw/6HI7EUl84vo/s1600/Rain.jpg
Like the light :) Very nice
this is gonna be hard
love your painting work~
Fantastic illo and use of lighting....doesn't feel right on a shirt yet though.
Wow great painting style that still captures the noir feel.
This is the winner! Wow.
great! love it!
Oh my! I love it
Great mood and technique
I want it
Oh, I adore this!
cool idea, great as normal shirt idea, but since the theme is NOIR it should be mostly a black and white image. That's what adds the mystery. Noir films are black/white and sultry. Full of darkness and suspicions.
I also noticed the similarity with the splash screen of Autodesk's iPad drawing app mentioned by @brianw. Even if it's just a coincidence for me it's just too similar.
Love the atmosphere created in this drawing!
hey, thanks everybody!
@megalina - yeah, I can see why you don't think it fits the noir theme, but my thinking is that the sort-of grim mood and strong rim lighting/silhouette feel, rain, darkness, limited color palette (it's not b&w, but it is very limited), etc. would still qualify it as 'noir'. I guess we'll see :-)
@frickinawesome - any thoughts on what might make it feel better as a shirt? Or on why it doesn't work for you as a shirt? Any criticism is welcome and appreciated!
like it a lot!
Very diferent, love the painting work.
this will print on monday, may 2, 2011. 5$
great art, just because its new and different doesn't mean it won't feel good on a tee! 5$
Thanks all :D
