Watch this

I saw E.T. in the theater too. I was mad at first, because I had my heart set on Return of the Jedi, but it was sold out.

By the end I thought it was so awesome, I didn't care. Plus my dad bought me a Return of the Jedi shirt on the way out of the mall.

My uncle took my cousin and I to see the 1960's Batman movie at a Saturday matinee. That's pretty much the first movie theater movie I remember, and it was awesome.

E.T. was probably still in the theater in 1983 when Jedi came out. Movies used to have much longer runs.

Johnny Dangerously (1984)
Footloose (1984)
Stand By Me (1986)
Robocop (1987)
Star Wars (1977)
Foul Play (1978)
Just One of the Guys (1985)
Witness (1985)

I've never seen E.T. ever.

I saw mostly Disney movies. I remember we saw the Little Mermaid three times in theaters.

Popeye (1980) I feel asleep, but I was only 4
The Great Muppet Caper (1981)

Dick Tracy was the first, and the last time I went to a drive-in.
We hid in the back of the van and got in free.

Batman Returns
Jurassic Park

Both of them scared the crap out of me.

professor you saw the original star wars?? even I was only a year old then.. and Im old!

I'm 38 this year. Also, I have no Idea how I forgot to mention A Christmas Story (1983).

I saw E.T. with my parents, then for a friend's birthday, then with both sets of grandparents, then with my sister's friends. I think I saw it 6 or 7 times during the original run. It was such a huge deal back then.

Twice i think.

I went out and bought the lame boardgame right after seeing it...well, my parents got it for me, hehe.

Oh, shit! I can't even remember how many Bond films I saw in the theater. I can think of The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), A View to a Kill (1985) and License to Kill (1989) for sure.

A View to a Kill
Rocky IV (I tried to hid my watery eyes when Apollo died)

Dumb and Dumber. My parents said I've never laughed harder in my life than I laughed at the toilet scene.
