questions for the arteests

so i was just wondering, how do you all get your ideas onto the computer? do you draw by hand first and scan it in? or do you have programs and such to draw it on the computer?


i have several ideas working through my head and just wanted to see what the best option would be.

what i have done in the past is hand draw, scan, then take it into adobe illustrator and outline the whole thing, transfer it to photoshop and get to work smoothing the outline and details out. then i color last usually. to make life easier i am buying a Wacom Tablet soon, and you can draw onto that and it goes directly into your computer. just some food for thought. you def need illustrator and photoshop to help with the creation though. good luck! :) if you have any more questions id be happy to help.
